I popped in yesterday to watch the football Good atmosphere, had a great burger And they were offering a pint of Spiced Ale for £2.00 Absolute Bargain!!! Would definately come again helsbels30 - 24 Nov 2011 11:26
Looked at a flat near this pub so popped in for a pint. Not too bad but it was quiet when I was there. Toilets were crap! Probably go there regularly if I end up moving to the area though! spike45 - 5 Feb 2010 17:01
I really like this pub. I always find the staff friendly, the prices are reasonable. toilets are shabby and could do with a touch up. think the blonde manager is really nice SamBebb99 - 17 Sep 2009 09:13
Medium large featureless modern pub that feels like it has been removed from a franchise chain (Scream) and left to decay. it's in the language school area of Greenwich, so attracts a number of students. There are no casks ales. Standard pub fare at around £5 a meal. All keg lager and cider, plus Guinness. Not a place to visit twice - really quite scruffy and dirty. SilkTork - 13 Sep 2009 23:52
It's very student-friendly... and I'm a student - albeit that I'm in my mid-20s and prefer a good quality ale and a nice relaxing pub to drink it in, but this place has served me well in other ways so I can't really complain. To be fair, calling it a student pub does it a disservice, it's not that bad. I mean, sure, it's not upmarket, it's not the sort of place you'd write to CAMRA about and it's not the sort of place you'd go for a quiet beer... but it's the place to go if what you want is to get cheaply bladdered with your mates. tiredjay - 11 Sep 2009 23:45
