Smart foodie pub with the usual modern characteristics, redeemed by the fact that the Porter was superb - beer of the year so far.

Generally find this pub a nice place to start in Putney. The prmises seem clean and if you park yourself at the bar, the staff serving always seem to check up on you and fill your glass when needed.

Its not the best layout if its quite busy, but if you are looking for a quiet drink and a catch up with a friend, this is a comfortable, friendly boozer.

A good place to start before moving on somewhere else.

Agree about the pump clips - a whole line of London Pride clips trying to hide a lonely Porter.
Not minding too much as both good pints in a sea of Youngs elsewhere. Otherwise large dark wooden tables and chairs designed to assist beer sales as your bound to spill your pint as you sit down

Went here last night, thinking its a safe bet: its a Fulllers pub. Well, Its a Fullers Bar, not a pub. The ale producer's very own pub with 5 hand pumps and I was shocked and disappointed to find on offer; London Pride, London Pride, London Pride, London Porter and London Pride. So I went for the Porter for a change. This was off. The choice of beer in this 'bar' is awful and the atmosphere stale, with unfriendly and defensive bar staff. They said "but its all we got delivered".

Well, you get what you ask for, but who asked for this bar to degrade Putney High Street?

Not worth a visit!
