| A nice breezy bar with an interesting mix of students and professionals which somehow seems to create a welcoming atmosphere which is unusual given the location. Ideally situiated next door to the tube makes it a great meeting place before a big night out. RachelPenny - 8 May 2008 11:41 |
| I use this place a lot and I don't think you'll find a better place in this area. The staff are friendly, the foods OK and best of all it seems to be the only place on Holloway Road thats not full of undesirables. RobBlake - 18 Apr 2008 16:36 |
| A breath of fresh air on the Holloway road. I don't know why I haven't been here before. You normally find a load of undesirables in pubs in this area but felt totally unthreatened in here. Good selection of drinks and the pizza's are to die for! JessSlade - 4 Mar 2008 12:38 |

| Moved into the area a few months back. I have checked out my local, The Metro, a few times. The bar attracts a varied crowd. On match days it's full of Arsenal fans, usually monitored by a load of Police outside. But the bar doesn’t seem to attract any football idiots… Friday lunchtimes are full of council workers form the nearby depot. I had to laugh when I saw the street cleaning lorries, dust carts and equipment parked outside, whilst the thirsty lads nipped inside for a quick pint! Good bar, wide range of beers. The new outside tables are very welcome. And with all the new apartments popping up in Hornsey Street, this bar should get a load of new customers. francoscott - 16 Aug 2006 15:44 |
