The last time I was in The Big Chill bar I wasn't with the right company thus my experience wasn't anything to write home about, and had some reservations about going back here. However, Saturday just gone, with a few pals and one of the most enjoyable sets of music (Aldo Vanucci) I have listened/danced to for absolute ages, + brilliantly drunk, my memory of the place is favourable. We only went for a few quite drinks from early eve', but it was a good 6 hours later before we left having danced and drank our socks off. Wouldn't go regularly, but with the right pals, right level of drunken shenanigans and a set like the one we heard - a fantastic nights entertainment will be had. Numbers - 12 Jan 2009 13:39
Love this bar, great atmosphere, good music, friendly staff and well prepared drinks. GreenwichLaserBlazer - 2 Jul 2007 12:54
I go here quite a bit because I work in the same building and can't stand the Vibe Bar! Evenings early in the week are great to sitr about with a drink and have a chat, Thursday to Sunday are very different - you'll be lucky to get a seat, but there is qality music, but there's no real excuse for the cost of a pint of lager - OUCH! If you have a problem with the clientel - go elsewhere. tallman - 17 Nov 2006 15:49
ooh, anonymous twisted digs. cheer up fella! your description clearly betrays the fact that you've never visited what is probably the friendliest bar in London. It's hard to feel out of place here as it attracts such a diversity of people. Including w*****s occasionally. slippers - 8 Jun 2006 13:36
I go here everytime im meeting friends for a Brick Lane smorgasboard! Drinks are definately a little expensive but I think its worth it. Circa £3.50 for a pint £5 - £7 for a cocktail. Trendy bar, great atmosphere, nice little outside seating area if its not too cold. Downright bizarre wall hangings and a good crowd of people. Pop in for a drink, you wont be disappointed. phil_dawson - 8 May 2006 14:33
