Itís a shame to see traditional pubs like this struggling, it was very quiet on the Friday lunchtime I visited. I suspect the location is an issue as itís in a largely residential area. Nice dťcor, looks to have had some money spent on the interior recently. Low-ceilinged single bar with a pool table and dartboard in a back room. Unobtrusive music plus TVís for sports. Pride and Tetley on hand pump at £2.90 a pint.

One of the best pubs in Hemel. Small and cosey in a nice road. Ideal for a date. Also, good beer garden.

I used to think this pub was a bit rowdy, but having been in there twice recently, I'd give it the 'thumbs up'. Sky TV now, too, which is a bonus for quiet Monday evenings when your teams match in Stoke has been inexplicably switched! Very well kept London Pride

what a calm place.

Really nice traditional pub. No food available just good beer. Always clean and friendly staff. Pool table tucked around the back so doesn't get in the way. Just like pubs used to be.
