| One of my favourite places to drink in Clapham common, the Belle Vue is two seconds from the tube station and is a beautiful pub. I always recieve a smile from the bar staff and the service is always good. The new menu is excellent and the food is never slow to come out. During the week when i pop in on my break to read the paper and have a quick drink the staff are always happy to chat whilst they work, especially the chap that looks strangly like harry potter. | Like this pub-has a unique character, doesn't feel like a chain. Nice pint. Ideally located by the tube, so makes for a good meeting place or somewhere to get a bit tanked up for the journey home. Haven't eaten here yet so no comment on food. lekman - 1 Mar 2008 12:19 |
| Was in here on Saturday afternoon for the rugby - seeing England get a tonking brought a smile to my face after the earlier Scotland result. Thought this place was okay - was packed, yet the service was still good - enough bar staff so the wait at the bar was never more than a couple of minutes.
