| Went here with ex bird. Resented every penny of it. In fact I resent every penny I have ever spent in Clapham. However to be fair this isn't a bad place. I recall being crammed in the marquee bit at the back, the food was reasonable and not too expensive and the service was friendly. Not a pub at all though - and this is a website about pubs. anonymous - 19 May 2006 08:14 |

| what an amazing time we had here, food, service and Bloody Marys were brilliant Perfect for a Su. Thanks to FOH (Charlotte) for being a great host, and not to mention all the other staff who really added positively to the environment. Great surroundings too, in the garden, perfect for a date or parties. We had the sunday lunch which couldnt be faulted, i had the lamb, others the beef, both cooked with great appeal. Ill def return! | My partner & I spent a lovely evening here celebrating our 4-year anniversary last December (2004). We sat in the beautiful garden area under twinkling lights and foliage – very romantic! The food was excellent - I had the exquisite lamb, I think BF had the salmon. Both were delicious as was the organic red wine, still unfortunately a rare find in restaurants, even these days. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. After our meal, we retired to the parlour downstairs where the kind waitress brought our brandies and a suitable CD for us to listen to – how thoughtful! A very enjoyable evening – would definitely recommend Metro as a great place to eat and relax. racheblue - 14 May 2005 20:04 |
