Only 2 other people in the front bar on the Saturday afternoon i went in and one of them worked there! 4 people in the large back bar playing pool but the place really was empty. After reading other reviews i did expect more from this place. 3 Atomic beers on the tap and i took the opinion of the bar maid and the choice was good. Nice pint and at the right temperture. I just expected this place to be a bit better than it was. I'm not running the place down i am just a little bit let down as i really thought this was going to be a cracking pub...maybe it is but not on the day i visited lezford - 7 Dec 2011 18:44
The pub has recently changed hands and it has been bought by the lads form the Atomic Brewery. Little has changed as yet although the cellar has just undergone a complete refit. Appears the Abbot has been dropped ( not before Time) and it looks as if we should be in for a wider choice of beers form now. Good luck to the lads it will be a hard act to follow. mrblonde1234 - 1 Oct 2011 17:43
A lovely little boozer just off the town centre. This is the home of the Atomic & Alexandra breweries. The graden is a real bonus and we spent a very pleasant afternoon just enjoying the ales on offer. Yes it need a bit of TLC but this is a proper unspoit pub!!! manutd69 - 17 Jun 2011 12:25
Lots of angles in the small bar of this pub which is sandwiched between new 'social' housing and a multi-story car park not far off the main street. You can also look through the window form the bar in to the pool room. Found the ale ( a dark Milehouse brew) to be good and the locals quite friendly. A pleasant 'community local' in the town centre. Snarling_Mallard - 8 May 2011 11:11
