Very depressing. 2 punters all in all at 20:40 and then about 12 at around 10:40 on the New Years Eve. And why have a band that plays Rock music when you intent to keep the volume so low, restrict their performance not pay them the agreed fee and ask them to leave. It is just pointless. We had enough and decided to move on to the pub nearby which, needless to say was totally packed. This is a pub that is run by losers and can only be “appreciated” by big time losers. Amen.

A friendly welcome and excellent Guinness. A proper Irish pub, not one of those fake Irish-themed places.

I moved to burnt oak over 2 years ago and thought i would give this place a try, after a few dirty looks from the local council estate scum in the bald faced stag, i needed somewhere quiet and friendly.

I was not dissapointed in the least, this is a "real" irish pub.

No fancy alcopops on display, plain no nonsense booze, and and service to match.

The guiness is superb too.

The landlord is friendly and makes you feel very welcome, the regulars sing out old irish songs late in the evening, and there is no lack of sport available on the big screen.

There is a public area with 2 pool tables also.

Recomend very highly

Very nice indeed. A well-run, friendly and unpretentious Irish pub. Good place for music, Guinness and conversation.
