WHat a wicked party. The rose and crown has a after party on, on a sunday evening called Lick Drink Suck. The place is banging. Everyone is dancing to electro house music.Loved it!!

Under new management, this has become a really friendly pub with a good, lively atmosphere - nothing like the description given in one of the comments below. It's a great old pub where the staff are really welcoming. Go there for a relaxed, unpretentious evening!

Well, me and my boyfriend went last wednesday after recieving a flyer where it said that it was under new young management and we weren't dissapointed. It was open mic night and we had a great night listening to various musicians. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming to new people. For a local it's a great alternative.

Oh dear, what nice words do I have for this pub.....none. This pub has to change its windows every week (and i dont mean XP either). The local pond life congregate inside and the only entertainment is a good old fisty cuff. Go there at your own peril!
