Reasonable pub, sat alone on a street where there used to be 4! Not to good, not to bad, more one for the regulars bowhammer - 6 May 2010 16:51
This pub is a typical Eastend local boozer. I popped in the other Sunday and was pleasantly surprised, especially with the treats that you don't get in many pubs nowadays on Sundays. The outside looks newly painted and the inside was clean and presentable. I understand it is under new management and he is clearly trying to make improvements. Sky television is available and the football was on. The toilet did leave a lot to be desired but the bar was clean and well looked after. If you are looking for a quiet pint in a small, local pub this is what you will get at the Blue Anchor. beergodess - 5 Sep 2008 10:58
This pub is located in Bow East London, on Bromley High St. This is a jolly old mans type of pub. Atmosphere is relaxed and full of decent locals. Nice place for a quiet peaceful drink. raging - 4 Aug 2005 21:12
