| As of the 17th June 2009, the pub is now closed and boarded up. What a waste of a fantastic local. Great garden, large car park, huge two bar pub, tons of accommodation. Ex Taylor Walker, could have been a brilliant establishment. Now probably worth more as yet another building plot. Only one pub left out of SEVEN locals. "THE KINGS ARMS" The IRA had a damn good go at getting rid of it, but it still remains. So if it is to stay, then we had better all support it. CaskMaster - 18 Jun 2009 01:48 |
| Good locals pub, but the locals are normally very friendly towards strangers. Okay range of beers, but nothing great if your a real ale fan. Big TV for the footie, pool table and a new funky MP3 jukebox. The main attraction to this pub is a huge beer garden which houses a large barbecue in the centre. Makes for some great summer weekends. robfosters - 24 Mar 2007 18:49 |
