rude staff and bad management

This is a very dimly lit pub that has a standard and premium draught selection (no ale) and I counted five plasma screens stretching the length of the bar area which is split into two. Food is served, but most of the other customers seemed to be gathering for the start of the football which was being shown on Sky Sports and I’d imagine that the loud dance music would be turned off at kick off.

Maybe I was lucky as, contrary to more recent reviews, I was served a decent pint of Guinness by a friendly barman. Whilst supping my pint I noticed a sign that advertises the closing times as 11pm everyday except Friday and Saturday which are 2am, so handy for a late drink if in the area.

This isn’t really my sort of pub as it was full of twenty-somethings drinking premium lager, but I would pop back in if using the tube station again.

Run down by some blind idiots now. Back to times Bedford used to be. Owner, dps, mngt do not care about anything else than green and themselves. Not worth going, stay away or hit the high st. Clapham bars were more than Wetherspoon a while ago.

Never did reviews before but this day was too much! I used to work in a bar myself!
Never herd anything like this before! Blonde e european chick is a mean racist + terrible bar staff.
At first my boyfriend tried to order drinks for us at the bar by himself (he's from india).
He heard a sick comment from this (russian maybe) girl: "to busy for you nigg..."
We got very confused. Lost! What the hell is this?! We stayed. Wanted to sort things out.
Waited for a while and saw same girl giving drinks to her frends for free! Few OZs at the bar.
She didn't even realise we were still there waiting for service and watching her.
After next 20 minutes we finaly got our drinks. Mixed up! (something we did not order)
When we tried to explain she couldn't say a word in english.
We did ask for a manager.
Waited for another 20 minutes. Noone turned up!
Left.
Whoever is responsible for recriuting staff? Find another job!
CLAPHAM NORTH: Not a place where i want to go out again. Never! We wont come back.
Going down clapham north! Sorry!
