Great pub, good beer selection. Good mix of people. Whenever im in Northampton i pay a visit. A bit stuffy and squashed at the weekends, then again where isn't? reesyboy3 - 31 Jan 2008 22:29
Excellent boozer's pub in the town centre - catering for a wide variety of tastes and clientele. Regular oulet for Hampshire Brewery beers - must be the only place in the county where they can be drunk. Fairly loud rock music - so don't pop in here for a quiet evening with a good book! coulsdoncrawler - 20 Nov 2007 23:32
Best pub in Northampton. People of all ages and persuasions, staff are friendly and the pub garden is huge. Looks like a strict rocker pub but don't let the decor deceive you, they have music of all genres playing. Pete is wicked, so is Ri. tabula_rasa - 23 May 2007 01:46
Been going in here Thursday lunchtimes since i started work in the town, top pub and top beer, it's a pub with attitude and i like that. robert55 - 15 Sep 2006 13:32
Excellent range of ales (I think there were seven on handpump); clientele youngish, mainly goth/rocker/student types. Rather gloomy decor and staff could have been a bit more welcoming, but certainly worth a visit for the beer - I had Vale Black Beauty Porter and Oakham JHB. Rich66 - 22 Jul 2006 12:06
