| Have been here a few times now and always had a friendly welcome. Ale is usually very good, Speckled hen £3.06 (cheap). The food has always been good value. I can't see why its not more popular than it is. mc3 - 17 Dec 2009 18:30 |
| Visited the Queens Head on a Saturday evening, having visited the Onslow Arms first. Very busy at 8pm, the landlord was friendly & welcoming but the pub is very much focused on food. Had a pint of Shere Drop. The area is front of the bar is quite cosy as it only really has room for a single row of people. This is also the route through to the garden and toilets, so can become quite congested. Toilets were clean and there is a garden & car park to the rear of the pub.
