Sat out the front on Saturday and had a couple of pints, lovely. Unfortunately it was not so nice on Sunday when there was a cricket match; I imagine sitting there watching the game would be tres relaxing. beergibbon - 28 Apr 2008 11:01

I have been visiting this pub for the last twenty years and the latest incarnation with Ted and Debbie at the helm is by far the best. Always friendly and accommodating. Great food and drink served in a cosy atmosphere. Long may it continue! DownHilling - 9 Dec 2007 15:54
We visit this great pub often, and always receive a warm welcome from the friendly staff. The village green setting is very atmospheric and many a time has been spent in the gardens in the summer enjoying the fine selection of beers and high quality food. The pub has a reputation for great food and wine in the restaurant, and is also a cosy retreat in the winter, hogging the fire with a drink in hand. 1fortheroad - 7 Dec 2007 18:48
