Looked closed at lunch time today.

Heard of a pub with no beer, but this one had no staff - hung around for a few minutes, then walked out!

First impressions made me keep my money in me pocket.

please please never stay here accomodation is vile -our floor was soaking wet, the room stank and the windows were open to try and rid the smell. Pub still open at 3am when we returned from a party and they couldnt even be bothered to get up to provide the cooked breakfast we booked for 930am on the Sunday morning- Maybe that was a blessing in discuise with hindsight.
A generator kept our friends awake on the ajoining room and access to the rooms is via a sideway piled high with rubble & an old mattress!!

Used to be a great village pub - seems a little frayed around the edges now but still full of locals
