| If anyone wants an honset opinion about this pub - don't ask the staff! They are the most confrontational and self involved people I have ever met. The impression you get once you step in the door is simlply this... If they could run the pub just for them to use, they would. glasswar - 15 Feb 2008 18:01 |
| 2 of us went for lunch here, beer was going off but was changed OK. Waited ages for sandwiches - when we enquired about delay, retort was "You haven't waited half an hour yet" No we had at leat another 2 minutes to go. Then the barmaid came over & said accusingly "part of the reason you are waiting is because you ordered a chicken baguette, it's all freshly cooked, not out of a packet" - all delivered in an aggressive, accusing way. Well I do apologise for actually wanting a quick pub lunch in my lunch hour. Shame, pub has nice garden and used to be a friendly place. There were 2 other customers in the bar! lizlibation - 27 Aug 2007 23:24 |
