Awful. Horrible. Manager is awful, ridiculously rude and horribly hostile. I WOULD NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!! Also, if you are a band, never play here, you get treated like rubbish. Johnny

It smelt musty the bar man was rude when I questioned the taste of the adnams bitter, he stated it's clear isn't it! I will not return

Popped in for a gig a while back. Was pleasantly surprised to see a choice of real ale (Boradside and Best from the Adnams range). Various function rooms for different types of music, a large covered outside drinking area as well as the bar. Beer was OK and it's an interesting enough pub. Friendly enough staff and service wasn't too bad given the number of people at the bar.

Not my favourite Ipswich pub. Went in recently to find the place smelling of line cleaner / bleach / some other similar substance, and on sampling a pint of Adnams Broadside had cause to suspect that the line cleaner had not been properly rinsed from the lines... However by this time the lone barman had mysteriously disappeared!! Better off having a little walk out of the town centre and visiting the Dove...

Fantastic pub. great range of beer & lager all well kept and served by great bar staff. Made to feel welcome despite not being locals. Cracking atmosphere. No problems. Me mates and me liked it a lot.
