It's a great pub for meeting and chatting with friends. The background music is inoffensive and the staff are all friendly and polite. A reasonablye selection of ales, lager and wine but nothing impressive. Although i go there to meet friends after work, i wouldnt go there for a 'night out' or at the weekend. It's a little boring. So if anyone can recommend a pub nearby that's equally as non intimidating but has a pool table or entertainment i'm all ears!

hmmm been there lately and there really isn't a lot to do. A few fruities. Nice place to just sit and have a chat in but not really my taste in place as it is boring in there at times.

Been visiting this house for many years, and believe it to be run in the greatest fashion, Excellent manager, Professional staff and a fine wine selection.

As john said, the preston was great few years back, and the games room, with its mini bowling alley and pool tables, was a fantastic night out, but alas all gone!saying that i dont think that the preston has become a boring place to be, there are far to many rough and loud pubs in wembley/preston road area, and being able to go to the preston and have a drink, and be able to hear yourself think i think makes the preston one of the best pubs around! the food is good, the range of beer is to wide to pass off as lousey, and the manageress and her staff are always well mannered and professional,,,
