| Once again following Slough Town on the road in the Evo-Stik Central, the massed ranks of Rebels fans pitched up at the Golden Pheasant. And what a pub. No music, no TV so no overblown Premier League football, no extensive menu. In fact no food at all. But the Golden Pheasant is that rarest of beasts... a drinkers pub. Six real ales availble, including Black Sheep and some excellent Buntingford November Ale, brewed just up the road. The pub has some seats, some tables, the ability to have a converstaion and a friendly landlord. So what can I say except what a pleasant change it is to find such a pub in a town centre. | Best pub by far in Biggleswade. Would honestly say it's one of the top 5 pubs I've been to in my life - and that's no exaggeration. I never thought this place would be my cup of tea, but having recently moved to the area, I find myself going here more and more. Friends I've made in Biggleswade and the surrounding area also swear by the place. As has been stated previously, 'an oasis in a town full of poor pubs'. Doogles - 7 Nov 2011 12:13 |

| Lots of rare beers appearing regularly. Justifiably won the local CAMRA pub of the year 2009. Such a shame the local branch do not support this excellent Pub. Excellent beer quality, never had a bad pint! camra - 25 Apr 2010 15:29 |
