Our favourite pub in a beautiful location. In the sunshine you can sit out by the water or in the winter you can sit by the open fire. The landlord and staff are all really friendly. The food is pricey but you always get a good meal, particularly the chicken curry! cheers1234 - 23 May 2011 19:43
HSB, London Pride and Seafarers were on the handles, this is after all a Fullers pub. Good to find an excellent drop of HSB. Our food was very good, my tasty chicken curry had nan bread, mango chutney and sour cream with it. The upstairs interior had a notation that described how it was once a grain warehouse, there were apparently original timbers still in evidence with furnishings in good order. The place was practically full on a wet day albeit in the half term. Good views over Langstone Harbour. Certainly it was restaurant upstairs, didn't check out conviviality downstairs, but food ordering and delivery was efficient and friendly. Plenty of tables and chairs outside, expect it is extremely popular in summer Feed - 23 Feb 2011 21:25

This is a fine place to eat and drink. Lovely location on the waterfront, pretty good food, good selection of beers and very friendly staff. Floyd - 7 Nov 2009 19:45
