I once stayed here for a business trip. The beer was reasonable but the decor was miserable. Typical overly loud disco knocking out bad tunes to the massive audience of 3 people. Rooms were a bit shabby and the food was absolutely bog standard. In the morning I took delight in ordering Britains dullest breakfast. Obviously this is not news to anyone as I was the only person staying there that evening. This pub is everything that you don't want it to be, that is, unwelcoming, dreary and serves overpriced average food. The alternatives, I may add, are also less than welcoming.
