| Having relocated to Warsash about two years ago, it was necessary for me to find a local that I was happy with. Of the three pubs in the village, the Ferryman is the front runner. Its not just that it serves really good beer or the friendly and efficient staff or even the great menu(got to be tried by the way), its the really warm welcoming atmosphere that gives you the idea that even though you might have only planned to be out for an hour you often stay alot longer. | We were pleasantly surprised here. The menu is interesting and varied, something for everyone. I had a steak & ale pie, and it was a proper in-house pie, not a serving of steak with a lid plonked on top as so often happens. The prices are reasonable, given the excellent quality, and the drinks prices are not the usual rip-off. We'll be going back, that's for sure.
