the best range of ciders I've ever seen in Abingdon! In bottles they had Brothers, Thatchers, and I think some Weston's too. Draught was the usual Strongbow, but you can't have everything! It's always been a nice pub, and now there's more reasons to drink there! clockworkpurple - 24 Jul 2008 15:38
Pub changed hands recently (some folks from the nearby Boundary house). Still an OK local pub with a variety of beers but landladies not as welcoming as the previous owners peteathome - 11 Dec 2007 20:03
Always nice to go in and buy a decent pint, sadly not as often as I like now as I have moved from Abingdon. Liam has a nononsense aproach to keeping his beer. Michelle is very friendly, a great pub enviroment and as mentioned it may take a little time to get in the "Click" ( not all the bad)....what are you waiting for only another 15 years to go. adam2672 - 21 Jun 2006 19:15

An excellent pub to enjoy drinking well kept beer in! Liam and Michelle keep a good and friendly pub. No juke box but plenty of good real ale and freshly cooked home prepared food to accompany all those friendly discussions that good ale encourages. derekbutton - 28 Feb 2005 20:50
