As happened with other people, went for lunch, pub not at all busy, but the food took ages to come. Considering it was just standard ready-made bar food, it is astonishing that they seem consistently to be so slow.

Against that, the bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. And, at lunchtimes at least, you can be sure to get a seat!

Its seen better days but for pub grub the menu is spot on, especially with 2 meals for a tenner offer.

Beer overpriced and its not that busy in the day time.

The decor is stylistic, some comfy warm areas and some designed to keep you stood up.

Overall its not bad.

The only negative sides to the pub is the price of beer and they do not how fotball on setanta sports, they only have sky sports so you have been warned.

Pool table gone, great new menu. Live music and best of all Black sheep on tap with other real ales on as guests. Well worth another look.

Largeish pub on a busy corner about 20 steps up from street level, convenient meeting place. Not as scary as others report but scruffy feel. Greene King IPA on handpull drinkable just.

Used to go there for lunch on a Fri but stopped going because they took too long to serve the food. Just went back after not being in for ages, there was practically nobody in (for good reason!) & we still hadn't got our food after over half an hour of sitting there and as we had to get back to work we had to get a refund and leave hungry. Needless to say we won't be going back to give it another chance again!

Absolute crap and full of scallies at the weekend.
