user reviews of the Cross Keys Hotel, Eccles

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

i recently called in to the crosskeys as it is close to the station.they are now serving the most wonderful food on a weekend.
i was told the landlady had only recently taken over and cheered the place up.
i was really impressed with the resonably priced good homecooking.
i will go again

A dark and dingy pub with a slightly creepy atmospere.
Unpleasent, sad people on both sides of the bar. Very dodgy location hidden away next to the church graveyard, be warned.

This pub has the most friendliest atmospheres, the staff are good for a laugh and there is never any trouble AT ALL, the beer is probably the best you will get in Eccles if you don't believe me try it for yourself, but as a person who just wants to go and have a few beers and not having to scrap with someone at the end of the night this is the pub to be in. Best in Eccles!!!

Horrible dark pub ! Beer not too clever and staff not the friendliest ! would not suggest to anyone really ! unless that is they are looking to really slum it and no doubt end up in the middle of a brawl.
