I love the bell. Food is very good and very reasonably priced. The staff are great and helpful. Wine is always at the right temp and the beer also.
The whole place has a really nice atmosphere and I love the way it is divided up into several different areas.
Its so much better that the Airfield Tavern, Both in food quality and price.

You get exactly what it says on the tin and for a family, food, sport pub it does it as well as it can.
Steaks are good value and I've never had a problem with the food there. You get what you pay for and I don't think it's bad at all.

I knew this pub when it was a Bass tenancy. Popped in the other day 'for old times sake'.......wish I hadn't of bothered. Yes it has been enlarged and yes it is operated now by Greene King and yes It is a disaster. If you want 'less than perfect' GK real ales and 'ping' food, this is the place for you. Not impressed.

Well, visited last night and no Real ales to choose from, a most delightful scene of empty plastic pint pots placed upside down on top of the hand pumps. GK IPA extra cold keg was offered, I chose Guiness which, after my experience at the Phelips Montacute at least was drinkable.
Was equally surprised at the TV screen in each dining booth. Staff also particularly inept, 30 mins for a bowll of chips to appear. Pub? no.

awful service from the bar from most staff. i am the invisible man i think! quality of the beer tends to vary and to be honest the food doesnt really appeal (certainly as a young male chef entered the bar area and his uniform looked filthy!).

nice decor, nice location, nice play area for the kids but could be improved.
