user reviews of the Arrow, Yeovil

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

A large pub with plenty of seating, the Arrow serves typical pub food for competitve prices, including some meals at two for £10.
There is a small outdoor beer garden which is separate from the smoking area, although people do smoke in the beer garden. The garden is more like a terrace overlooking Abbey Manor shops, but it's outside all the same.
Live sport is shown whenever it is on and there is a big screen with numerous TV's placed around. There is an area with no TV or sport too so if you're not interested you can have some peace, or at least space.
There's three pool tables for general use and various fruit/quiz machines on offer. There's also a cash machine, but be prepared to pay £1.95 for withdrawals; point to note is that there's a free cashpoint at Tesco Express across the road.
The toilets are clean and the staff are very friendly.

Nice atmosphere for an estate pub but very limited range of beers (Pedigree is well kept) and menu is OK but prety bog standard and not at all exciting.

Good night out if your drinking with friends. Bad night out if your eating. Table was prebooked for approx 10 people the food was late & crap.

This Pub was nowhere near as bad as I was led to believe. Although an estate pub, it had a very drinkable real ale the staff were friendly and even the Yeovil footy supporters made us at home.
