Still the worst dirtiest spoons in the country.

Usual Wetherspoon’s formula ie old building looking nice on the outside, huge stripped-out inside and refitted with Wetherspoon’s panelling and old town pictures etc. Beer was fine but down of a choice of about 4 by 10pm on a Saturday night in September. Nothing out of the ordinary except upstairs with hole in floor to look down from.

Since my last scathing review there has been some improvement in the staffing situation. There seem to be more staff behind the bar now and they have some idea of which order to serve those who have been waiting. Also they are firendlier and more efficient.I will keep tabs on the situation

It's a Spoons, what more can I say, the beers were Ok but on my visit there was a desperate need for a plumbers visit to the gents piss corner, hopefully this is not an ongoing problem.

Fairly standard Wetherspoons, it's big and on 2 levels but you can enter the upper level at ground level around the side, the winos tend to inhabit the bottom floor. The Real Ale is good with a decent selection and cheap.
