It's now called 'CAPE' by the way.

Definitely a good pub for watching the footie, the screens are high up, large and numerous. The beer is average and reasonably priced. Staff are OK although the kitchen couldn't tell the difference between chicken and tuna when serving a sandwich last night.
However, the decor is like an airport pub - fake. It's built into the corner of a modern office block and therefore has zero ambience. Gets busy on Friday nights and when there's an England game on.

It's ok. I've been a few times now as it is close to work. The ale always seems to run out just as I order it - do they not know how to change a barrel? Do they not buy in enough? Or do they just not like me? Good for keeping an eye on the sport whilst enjoying a drink (if there is any left). Loads of plasma screens and a big projection screen for the key footy games. Food is ok. Some of the staff seem competant enough.

Service V Poor. Food and staff cold. Asked the manager a question and she walked away...I did ask politely. Big screen failed 3 times.

Always liked this pub. Good beer, good food & good service.
Not sure what else you need from a pub.
P.S. I'm in love with the blond who looks like she runs the place - she's been there years & is from Eastern europe. lovely girl

good pub. excellent for private functions especially if you get top bar. We used the vip sports section which gives you a private plasma screen with comfy sofas and bar right beside, is like watching in your own living room but with better atmosphere. Clean toilets and good food . not too expensive good everyday pub

Its ok. It has an upstairs and a downstairs and you can buy alcoholic beverages there to drink. Has a flat screen TV on the wall.
