I am a fairly weary individual. I drink beers sometimes. Sometimes if i remember I give each beer a number out of 10 to signify how much I liked it. I write the numbers down in a red book. That way, in the future, I can avoid drinking nasty beer. I write in the red book at home, I do not take it out with me. This is why the system breaks down, as after several pints of different stuff, in the morning I cannot remember what rating I decided on. True story.
Possibly I prefer something like the Erdinger Dunkel or Pikantus the most. Yes, they are nice aren't they.
Or perhaps I like a British ale the most, Old Bob is a personal favourite.
Then again, I have always been partial to a nice Kriekbeer, particularly when walking long distances.

I quite like it, while you wouldn't want all the drinking establishments in st andrews to be like this, its good to have the one there just to add variety.
That said, it has been over a year since I last went there, and I cant remember what the beer selection is like. I appologise.

The Liberty Bounds, Tower Hill
I neglected to mention there did seem to be marginally better variety of beers than you normally expect in similar chain pubs.

The Drouthy Neebors, St Andrews
Yea, its a decent pub. Of course, any pub is going to struggle when its in the same town as Aikmans Cellar bar, but Drouthys does it well. Not particularly good choice of beer though.
Can aquire blow up sheep (as well as other items) from vending machines in the toilet.
