The Preston Brewery Tap, Brighton

Well, since Adrian's informative comment a long time ago, I can tell you that the place has changed. Although the decor certainly hasn't, it's due for a refit very very soon. The Landlord told me that the bartop (a dodgy copper affair) had been there since 1970-something, so he was more than please to get shot of it.

The beer is nice, not overpriced at all, considering the other pubs around this area (Park View, Crown & Anchor etc) are around the same price. Not seen the hard looking teenagers frequenting this place, but the people there seem friendly enough.

The Druids Head, Brighton

Brighton's oldest pub, so they claim, but looking at it, they're probably not wrong. Lovely ales, have met visitors to Brighton here many a time as it's too easy to find and if you don't know where it is, everyone else does, so ask for directions.
As with all good pubs, there is a down side... It has been known to close at 11pm.
