I visited this pub on a Friday lunchtime. The landlord looked at me and didn't have the courtesy to either greet me or ask what I'd like to drink. He then left the bar and wandered around the dirty depressing dump. I spent 4 days in York and encountered nothing but friendly welcoming staff. This landlord should be in the Guinness book of records for the opposite!
