| I visited this pub on a Friday lunchtime. The landlord looked at me and didn't have the courtesy to either greet me or ask what I'd like to drink. He then left the bar and wandered around the dirty depressing dump. I spent 4 days in York and encountered nothing but friendly welcoming staff. | This place looks quite big from the outside until once you step inside & you realise that a large portion of the pub is now an Indian restaurant. Quite stuffy & crowded I don't think this is a place you could spend a whole evening. Timothy Taylors was fine but not really a great deal else. happytyskie - 24 Dec 2008 20:37 |
