The Shoulder Of Mutton, Lichfield
Visited this upgraded pub on 26/07/09 for a birthday meal. Couldn't fault the staff but one of the main dishes left a lot to be desired. My husband ordered the lamb roast and it was so fatty it was almost inedible. On mentioning this to the waitress she told us that there had been a lot of complaints during the day.
If i were the manager I would have apologised for the standard of the meal and offered maybe a free drink or a sweet. Needless to say we will not be returning as I expect none of the other complainees will.
