The Sovereigns, Woking

Easily the best pub in the centre of Woking, (not that that's saying much), the manager and bar staff always seem to make a real effort to make sure everyone's happy. There's always interesting guest ales on tap, and you are able to have a sample taste before you buy a pint. Much wider selection of ales than the other Ember Inn in Woking.

The Red Lion Inn, Horsell

I called in here late afternoon recently for a quick pint and was very impressed. The staff couldn't have been more attentive, the pub was clean and there was a nice attention to detail; fresh flowers on the table, toilets clean, and beer garden neat and tidy.
I believe this pub is famous locally for its food, and judging by the amount of bookings I heard being phoned in on a wednesday afternoon they must be doing something right.
Bearing in mind I visited on a mid week afternoon I can't comment on what a Saturday night is like but I will certainly come back at a later date to try out the food.

The Fox and Flowerpot, Goldsworth Park

Not really a 'pub'; if you're 17 and want to get hammered, or want to see Sky Sports and are not bothered about your surroundings, you might like this kind of place. Otherwise stay well clear, soulless, depressing, staff don't give a damn, filthy toilets, TV blasting out etc.
