I forgot to mention that it took me 30mins to get servesd at the bar, by which time half my other mates wanted beers as they had finished the drinks they had when I'd left them to get the round in.

Also, the men's toilets were flooded, which I was assured was normal.

A pissed of bar manager with an attitude problem eventually got right up my nose and I left that place with the steeming hump.

The Jolly Gardners, Putney

Was hearded around like sheep by overzealous bar staff all night.
First moved from the front beer garden to inside the bar, then from the back of the bar to the front, then outside into the street and then - this is the amazing bit - at closing time was hearded along the length of the street with all of the other people that had been in the bar, well away from the pub.

This pub is in a residential area, clearly the locals are not happy about it and there's strict rules in place relating to the location of customers at particular times of the night.

People get angry and there must be a few fights as a result, there were certainly a few heated exchanges of words the night I was there.
