WTF!!!!!

Quite possibly the most pretentious pub I have ever been to - both sides of the bar. As for the converted garden sheds on the front patio - DO ME A FAVOUR! And blankets to take outside - IT'S NOT A PICNIC AREA!

Beer OK, couldn't argue about that. So 1 point for that & zero for this horrendous place. Still, the posh & snobby locals will love it.

Absolute cracking pub that is worthy of the short walk from the High St and past The Coat & Badge.

This was my 3rd pub in Putney in one evening and I love it.

We came here around 10.40pm and was cheerily greeted by the bar maid. 4 pints of Navigation’s Ice Breaker @ 4% were duly ordered and knocked back.

Large open planned boozer with lots of wood. There are books and board games available and live music is also offered.

Even though it was late on a Wednesday evening the pub had a really nice chilled atmosphere about it and I’m sure when it’s busy it’s a great pub to spend an evening.

£4.00 a pint which is about right for this area but I’m happy to pay this when the beer is good and well served.

I suggest you ignore the reviews (apart from mine) and visit here as it’s much better than previous reviews suggest.

We had an excellent day here its a comfortable, friendly pub, with a good choice of food and drink, and relaxed ambience. We were particularly impressed by the TV policy they dont advertise it, so as not to attract clientele that comes in just for the sport, but we were able to watch the Grand National in comfort.

Very typical gastro-type place, utterly unremarkable and average Wandle (I think). I wouldn't complain if taken here with friends for a pint, but would opt for the Bricklayers if I had the choice.

Went here on Saturday but it didn't seem particuarly welcoming. Only beer worth drinking in here was Wandle except they'd done that annoying thing of not changing the clip when the beer had run out so you queued up in anticipation only to be disappointed. Not recommended.
