The Cross Keys, Sherborne

Terrible to see how a once great pub can go downhill so far
When I first found the Keys back in the early 70's there was a most friendly landlord
"Go forth and Multiply" Gordon Crossley and his beautifullly talented wife Thea providing great food (how can one forget her calls to the kitchen for "sex":-Sausage Egg and chips) plus very pleasing characters in the bar. My most unforgettble being James Kennard from the nearby China Gallery (later managed by Aussie Thea)
But the last time I dared look in it was to be true a noisome kids place quite ruined. Shame
