The Tudor Arms, Slimbridge

Had a pub meal here, reasonably priced, and friendly, helpful staff to go with it. There is plenty of room inside, and it's in a brilliant position, next to the canal. Sadly recently stopped allowing dogs. However, good beer from Wye Valley, Uley and Wadworths. Conveniently close to the Wildfowl and Wetlands trust.

The Crown and Sceptre, Stroud

Interesting community free house boozer. An eclectic mix of framed prints and posters fill the walls. Decent beer including Stroud Budding and Uley. Also guest ales from Blue Anchor. Terrace has great views of Stroud.

The Three Fishes, Shrewsbury

15th century pub, small and low beamed single roomed affair. Proved to be a little haven for good ale, range of up to six beers including Sharp's Doom Bar, Stonehouse Station Bitter, Three Tuns Stout and Timothy Taylor Landlord. Good condition. Friendly service.
