So it's a little rough round the edges, but then it's in Stamford Hill, and not a great bit of Stamford Hill at that.
Yet the staff are great, friendly in their way and the opposite of the too-cool-for-school barman who serves his skinny-jeans wearing mates as soon as they get to the bar and offers that irritating dose of sarcasm every time they open their mouths.
Big TV for the football, a couple of pool tables, but they're tucked out of the way. And on the other side the locals and the local rugby team on a Tuesday or Saturday night. I've never felt unwelcome here, and once you get past the fact it looks like every other crap pub, this is a great place.
