| the swan - my local, and a bloody good one at that. so its not flash but for me thats a good thing. if you wanna be surrounded by chinless wonders who are willing to pay £4 for a bottle of san miguel then head for the birdcage or the three crowns. a decent old fashioned boozer with decent staff. its a bit rough round the edges but its a good place for a pint. badger13 - 6 Nov 2007 14:13 |

| This is my favourite pub in the Stamford Hill area. Lovely for the summer as you can have a relaxing cold pint whilst sitting on one of the many tables outside the pub. Inside you have a great range of lager, ale, wine and cider all at a reasonable price. Pint of Carlsberg costs £2.60 for example. There are 2 pool tables, a snooker table, sky tv on a massive screen as well as smaller screens dotted around the pub. I have lived in Stamford Hill for about 18 months now and it is such a relaxing, fun place to drink. It is very spacious and there are 2 sides to it - you can go in the side with the pool and snooker tables or the other side which is more of a country pub feel to it.
