Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury

If Your a local i dont really think this pub can be put down , the ales are always excellent , the decor is to suit the friday/saturday night drinker but all in all an excellent pub with good local ales

The Kings Head, Shrewsbury

on my way past to a real ale pub ( the salopian) i thought i would have a look and my i was surprised , we ended up having lunch of slinky sausage ( as the monument down the road is called the slinky) , local meats ,well priced , local produce , fresh and hot .
I only drink real ale and was surprised to see a black sheep on the tap , nice and clean , tasty bar maid ,, i highly reccommend as i heard that it was new landlady

The Dog and Pheasant, Shrewsbury

fantastic , the ale was clean , the bar staff perfect ( in more ways than one) great pork scratchings ,
i got conned into playing frankie laine on the juke box .
a must visit
