The White Swan, Swinton

Excellent Edwardian example of a Holts boozer (was even better prior to alterations near 25 yrs ago !!!). Good value well kept Holts Bitter, friendly pub, busy vault and large back room with dart board. Back Room also has large drop down screen used on Fridays for Rugby League.

We go in every month or so (am not local) and back room has a good friendly feel with good banter. Excellent Pub. Back soon

The Globe, Brighton

Visited this pub last May. The ale was spot on (2 Harveys I believe). Food was good, staff were excellent and friendly, this place just felt right. Evenings that week didn't feel right unless I visited. Can't wait to call again in May this year !
