This now seems to be under the ownership or management of a hilarious and convivial Spanish gentleman. The restaurant half is dedicated to the culinary delights of Iberia, complete with piped flamenco music.
The main bar is a see of red and yellow, with Spanish maps adorning the walls. Go there for a giggle or a bit of decent tapas but don't expect much real ale other than IPA or Abbot.
Quite bizarre.

Good pub for the Thai Food - 2 courses for about a tenner, all freshly cooked in the clearly visible kitchen behind the bar. Sadly their only proper beer (Hardys) was off at 7 p.m. on a Saturday night, which left you with an uninspiring choice of cider, Carling or Guinness.
Also the Gents is ridiculously small.

The Fox, Pakenham
Dropped in a few weeks back for a quick pint and treated to a lovely drop of Sharp's "Doom Bar" as well as the usual IPA. Smashing log fire going in the corner and an all-round pleasant atmosphere to boot.
Looks to have plenty going on the way of evening and weekend entertainment - singers, bands etc. A landlord really trying to keep his pub at the heart of the community. Deserves support.
