Terraces, Brighton

Just enjoyed an fantastic lunch at the Terraces. Sun is shining and we managed to get a table on the terrace overlooking the pier. The Chorizo was lovely while the other half enjoyed her oysters and greek salad. All topped up with a bottle of wine.
Surely there is no place better in Brighton for the food, the view and the comapny?

DesVins Cafe and Wine Bar, St Pancras International Station

Came across this by accident while walking through St Pancras but was pretty impressed. There is a lot of wine on show but also a fair selection of beers so enjoyed a pint or two of old speckled hen while the girlfriend had a glass of chateauneuf du pape, normally 44 a bottle but she could get it by the glass at desVins which didn't dent my wallet too much. While waiting for our delayed train to Luton, we decided to try some food and loved the leg of lamb while my other half had a cheese platter that was fantastic, although we didn't really know what everything was but it was excellent anyways. Will definitely be back.
p.s .staff friendly although language barrier was a bit difficult although I suppose its to be expected at an international station..?

Brogans, Fulham

Went in an took advantage of the 2 for 1 lunch offer which was surprisingly good, a great pint of Guinness as well. Loved the little area downstairs where we ended up getting the space to ourselves and our own private TV screen for the football.
