The Princess Alice, Whitechapel

I remember going to this pub a few years back and it was a great traditional pub with good beer and great Service. I suggested going her for a few drinks after work with some work colleagues. About 12 of us arrived and made ourselves comfortable. The general consensus was that the service was lousy. The girls behind the bar were scruffy, they had no interest in serving the customer with a smile. The beer never topped the edge of the pint glass and each round we had to ask them to top our pints up. A very disappointing evening and a shame because this pub could be a gold mine.
