Spanish themed food. Food was very good. The paella is good value and arguably feeds three rather than two. Location is lovely, perfect if you want a walk in the Chilterns. Beer was good. Had Side Pocket on from the Tring Brewery just down the road when I was there and one from the Rebellion Brewery in Marlow.

The White Star Tavern, Southampton
Beer excellent. Was a choice of Ringwood or Tribute (St Austell brewery) when I was there.
Food was excellent too although you need all 3 courses to feel full - by which time it isn't cheap.
Seem to have some very pretty staff and clientele too which is always pleasant.
Highly recommended.

The White Swan, Wendover
Looks like they've dropped Fullers and gone to Shepherd Neame. Beer is the same price and still excellent although you'll be drinking Bishops Finger and Spitfire rather than ESB. They had another one as well, Whitstable Bay?
Cheapest beer in Wendover and always good. Doggie friendly too.
