The front bar would be even better if they occassionally had some traditional Irish folk music with fiddles, bodhrans and whistles.

The Dog and Bell, Deptford

By the way you can keep your bike in the small patio garden. Bar staff are really cool about people wheeling their bikes through to the back of the pub. Ans as its out of the way this is a definite plus.
