Cracking pub! Visited today be pure accident on country drive. Very polite and hospitible staff and landlord. The green king ipa was superb! Roaring log fire, a la carte menu, a pleasant beer garden. Am very chuffed with my fin d and am planning on another visit nest sunday for lunch!

Black Horse, Hookwood

A really nice mock country pub I have visited quite a few times. The food is always good for your money and the ales were kept well. The landlord always seems narky and not exactly welcoming which is the only downside. It has a good safe childrens play area in the garden which my godson loved. I have found myself coming here more and more simply as is the best around the area.

The Foresters, Horley

Sparse choice of beers, no real ales, a nice threat of violence when you enter and beer always split everywhere. Decor is poor and the intelligence of the patrons could be questioned....naff pub, no atmosphere...unless you fancy a fight
